Present.ly provides a wealth of opportunities for third party developers to leverage our powerful Twitter-compatible API. Whether you are developing a client for a new mobile platform or a service that aggregates and otherwise leverages the data available in a Present.ly network.

OAuth Applications

Present.ly supports the OAuth Standard as the preferred way to access the API. To get started using Present.ly OAuth you will first need to Create a Vendor Account. Once you have signed up as a vendor, you will be able to create applications that can be used by anyone in a Present.ly network or on presently.com.

HTTP Basic Applications

Present.ly also supports HTTP Basic authentication for API access. However, individual account administrators may choose to disable this method of API access in favor of only allowing the more secure OAuth standard.
